
Kunle Elebute

Mr. Kunle Elebute has over 40 years of professional experience advising clients in the private/public sectors in Nigeria and West and Sub-Sahara Africa. He led KPMG Africa as Chairman from 2017 to 2022. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and was admitted as a Partner at KPMG in 1996, assuming responsibility for the privatization and emerging markets practice. He led the Financial Advisory Services division, which oversees corporate finance, transaction and forensic services for the West African sub-region from 2002 and became Head of the Advisory Arm in 2008.
Mr. Elebute has acquired a wide range of sector experience including Financial Services, Infrastructure, Government & Health Care, FMCG, Energy and Natural Resources. He was appointed as a member of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Technical Committee for Banking Consolidation, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Committee on Corporate Governance as well as several other FGN Committees. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Manchester, UK in 1982 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
